Raise the Rim: the ultimate trick shot challenge

For their sophmore charity 3x3 tournament, Sinai Health and the Toronto Raptors had their sights set on higher attendance, bigger fundraising goals, and bigger impact with lifesaving research for 2024. 

To launch a bigger recruitment push with a splash to match, they grabbed the attention of the basketball community; building an unignorable 40-foot basketball tower in the heart of downtown Toronto. Commuters were invited to rise up and make the ultimate trick shot up to 30 feet in the air.

The community rallied around the event, raising the bar for lifesaving research. Raptors for Research held a VIP preview event for influencers, gained 500+ email signups over the one day activation, and got great earned media attention with CBC interviewing Raptors Superfan Nav Bhatia on site during the public launch event.
